Integra LifeSciences is seeking a Manufacturing Operator 1 to join their team in Plainsboro, NJ. The role involves operating and maintaining clean room manufacturing equipment and performing various processes related to collagen treatment.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operator 1, you will be responsible for enzymatic treatment of collagen, alkali treatment, tendon collagen prep, dispersion preparation, and lyophilization. You will ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain high-quality standards in a team-oriented environment. Your duties will include operating and troubleshooting process equipment, performing precise measurements, maintaining records, and adhering to safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0 - 2 years of chemical processing experience or batch mixing in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Fundamental understanding of mathematics and chemistry.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot process equipment.
Preferred:
- Degree in a related science.
- Production experience in a clean room environment.
- Ability to gown to ISO Class 5 and 7 Clean Room standards.
- Willingness to assist and train others.
