About the Role
As a Manager in the Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing significant challenges related to the safety and integrity of Google products. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze data, optimize business performance, and manage projects that have organizational implications. You will also lead a team, set priorities, and provide coaching to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in people management, leading teams.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
- Experience working closely with policy teams.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
