About the Role

As a Manager of Network Engineering, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 direct reports, ensuring compliance with network and IT security standards, enhancing network performance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to address complex challenges. Your daily tasks will include designing and implementing network services, mentoring team members, and supporting enterprise on-call rotations.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field.
2+ years’ experience successfully managing / leading technical teams.
Understanding of network management, security, monitoring.
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, switching, firewalls (BGP, MPLS, ISIS).
4+ years’ experience hands-on support and troubleshooting of networks.
2+ years’ experience with design and implementation of moderate/complex networks.
Heavy Automation Experience, Python.

Preferred:

Experience delivering Infrastructure as code, using and integrating DEVOPS tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python or Github).
Experience building cloud infrastructure in environments such as AWS, Azure, Google, or similar.
Experience using Agile Methodology.
Experience with SDN deployments or Cisco ACI.
Experience with Checkpoint firewalls (on-prem and virtual).
Advanced experience with architecting, designing, deploying, and operating network elements such as DNS/IPAM; Firewalls; Network Access Control Solutions (NAC); load balancing; DDoS mitigation.
