Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Manager, Assurance to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing assurance services that enhance clients' financial credibility and improve their business operations.
About the Role
As a Manager, Assurance, you will review audit engagement procedures, perform detailed audit procedures, and understand client service relationships. You will utilize technology tools to improve work processes, recognize problems, propose solutions, and assist in managing and coaching professional staff. Additionally, you will participate in board and audit committee meetings and build personal referral sources while engaging in team marketing opportunities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant audit experience.
- CPA license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Advanced analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to travel to serve clients.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain professional client relationships.
- A prominent level of knowledge of current audit and accounting concepts.
- A desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionals.
