About the Role
As a Mainframe Automation Engineer, you will provide subject matter expertise on various technologies, assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, and develop software solutions to automate processes. You will work with IBM System Automation for Z/OS and GDPS-CA technology, requiring a strong understanding of REXX programming and Mainframe operations. Your responsibilities will include configuration, maintenance, and support of automation tools, as well as documentation and technical leadership.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with Mainframe z/OS operating system.
- Working experience in Mainframe REXX programming and solid understanding of PIPES.
- Experience with IBM System Automation ZOS.
- Knowledge of Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF.
- Good communication skills to interface with various stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with Release/Change Tools.
