As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled sheet metal processing machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality of produced parts. You will work in a production environment with a focus on efficiency and quality, handling materials and using various measurement tools.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use or learn measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
- Basic knowledge of machine controls and programs.
- One year of experience with the set-up and operation of computer-controlled punching, cutting, forming machines, or press brakes.
Preferred:
- 1 year of machinist and manufacturing experience.
