About the Role
As a Machinist - Hone Operator, you will operate honing machinery under general supervision, hone parts to specifications, perform quality audits, and collaborate with the Leadman to monitor departmental performance. You will ensure materials are available for production, perform equipment maintenance, and participate in safety activities.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operations of Hone machinery.
- Knowledge of tooling and precision set-ups with consistent quality results.
- Experience in the use of precision measuring instruments, i.e., bore gages, comparator.
- Ability to read prints and engineering drawings.
Preferred:
- Experience in set-up and operating horizontal and vertical honing machines.
- Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish.
- Experience in the fastener industry.
