About the Role
As a Journeyman Machine Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance, including inspection, repair, and revision of sophisticated machinery. Your tasks will include troubleshooting machine malfunctions, fabricating replacement parts, and relocating machinery as needed. You will also collaborate with management and engineering teams on machinery selection and operator training, and may provide direction to other employees.
About You
Required:
- State Indentured Journeyman Machine Repair Person or 5+ years of hands-on Machine Repair experience in a Machine Shop.
- Ability to set up and operate a variety of equipment including Toolroom equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for 10+ hours a day, including frequently moving 50lbs independently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a Machine Shop environment, with a strong preference for CNC (mills & lathes), Grinding, and Press room equipment.
