About the Role
As a Machine Operator II, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the lift truck assigned to you, ensuring daily maintenance and safety. You will pull the correct scrap foam material for production, place materials on the conveyor, and operate granulator equipment while monitoring for contamination. General housekeeping duties and participation in the Plant Emergency Response Team are also part of your responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- One year of related experience in a production environment.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience operating a lift truck.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, reaching, bending, climbing, and twisting.
