About the Role
As a Logistics Supervisor, you will manage all import/export shipping activities, set and execute service levels for inbound and outbound shipments, and focus on customer satisfaction. You will oversee stockroom activities related to production orders and continuous improvement, develop strategies for efficiency and cost savings, manage the logistics team, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, monitor inventory levels, track order fulfillment, and report KPI metrics.
About You
Required:
- AS degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Five years’ industry experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP software.
- International and freight forwarding shipping experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of FDA and other regulatory agency import/export regulations.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Export regulations and Dangerous goods certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean/Sigma, JIT methodologies and/or supply chain management.
- Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of ESD material guidelines.
