Summary
Insight Communications is seeking a LogicMonitor Engineer to provide resident engineering support for federal government clients. The role involves monitoring technologies, LogicMonitor platform administration, and cloud infrastructure.
About the Role
As a LogicMonitor Engineer, you will be responsible for workflow automation, business process optimization, and integration with ServiceNow. You will support day-to-day operations and ensure effective monitoring of complex technical systems and web application architectures.
About You
Required:
- LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- 5+ years supporting modern server operating systems (Linux/Windows)
- Strong knowledge of application and system software monitoring principles and practices
- Experience with LogicMonitor, including proficiency in LM Envision and LogicModules
- Experience with ServiceNow integration and automation workflows
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish credibility as a monitoring expert
Preferred:
- LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP)
- Administration experience with other monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Extrahop
- Experience supporting federal government customers
- Experience in resident engineer roles or embedded support teams
- Experience with ITIL practices and service management frameworks
