About the Role
As a Local Contract Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for categorizing patients, applying external fetal monitors, interpreting fetal heart tracings, and implementing interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns. You will also administer medications, screen patients for pain, and identify emergency situations while working night shifts.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license for the state of New Jersey.
- 2 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery specialty.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
