About the Role
As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing, revising, and formatting legal documents, managing calendars, scheduling meetings and court dates, coordinating travel arrangements, transcribing legal documents, assisting in case preparation, conducting legal research, and ensuring timely processing of legal documents while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant in complex litigation.
- Proficiency in various filings, pleadings, calendaring, transcription, and travel arrangements.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal education.
