About the Role
As a Litigation Associate, you will manage all phases of the litigation process, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. You will draft legal documents, conduct legal research, represent clients in court, advise clients on legal rights, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals. Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality while staying updated on legal developments is essential.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the CA Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting motions and briefs.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
