About the Role
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with veterinarians and assistants to deliver essential services, including high-quality spay/neuter procedures, preventive care, and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe environment for animals in care. The position requires a commitment to animal welfare and effective communication with clients.
About You
Required:
- Current New York State Veterinary Technician License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
- Graduated from an accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program) or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Surgery/Anesthesia experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
