About the Role
As a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective dialysis therapy to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your duties will include monitoring and documenting patient treatment parameters, administering medications, and assisting in patient education regarding dialysis therapy. You will also ensure a clean and safe work environment and participate in staff meetings and training.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN).
- Current appropriate State licensure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
- One year medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Hemodialysis experience.
- ICU experience.
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
- Successfully complete CPR Certification.
