North Shore Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Full-Time/Part-Time 2nd Shift positions in Black Earth, WI. The role involves providing nursing care under the supervision of an RN Unit Manager or DON.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plans for residents/patients. You will ensure adherence to care standards, manage the environment for safety, and supervise nursing assistants. The position requires effective communication with residents, families, and staff, and adherence to all center policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
