Summary
Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Cedarhurst of Springfield, IL. The role involves promoting the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of residents and working closely with the Director of Nursing.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for residents. You will provide direction to care staff, communicate effectively with community staff and families, and ensure residents achieve maximum self-care and independence.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current state license is required.
- Must possess a current CPR certification.
- Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements with no restrictions, and available for weekend rotations.
- Ability to provide necessary care to residents within state and federal guidelines.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of Nursing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of treating and assisting seniors with dementia.
- Knowledgeable of and experienced in conducting pre-admission assessments, training, and education to staff, residents, and family members.
