Nielsen Eye Center is seeking a Licensed Optician to join their multi-specialty/multi-location ophthalmology practice in Southbridge, MA. The role involves providing optical aids and managing inventory while ensuring excellent customer service.
About the Role
As a Licensed Optician, you will interpret eye examination results, recommend appropriate optical products, measure patients for suitable frames, educate patients on eyewear care, and maintain inventory. You will also travel between the Norwell, Norwood, and Quincy offices as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years of A/R medical billing and collections experience
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- State Licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
