MEDIKO is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join their team in Norfolk, VA. The role involves delivering mental health services in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health disorders.
About the Role
As a Licensed Mental Health Professional, you will conduct patient assessments, provide crisis management and therapy, develop interdisciplinary treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will also maintain compliance with regulatory standards and document patient activities and treatment progress.
About You
Required:
- Current, valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional.
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional healthcare.
- Active CPR/BLS certificate.
Preferred:
- Experience in roles involving direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and policies related to correctional settings.
