About the Role
As a Licensed Dental Assistant, you will provide quality patient service by delivering thorough patient care, effective communication, and personal attention. Your responsibilities will include conducting oral health screenings, providing local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, exposing and developing radiographs, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean work environment that meets regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma required.
- A current Minnesota Dental Assistant License.
- Certified to administer local anesthesia in Minnesota and nitrous oxide analgesia.
- Current CPR certification obtained through an accredited course.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- An up-to-date and organized Professional Portfolio summarizing professional development activities.
- Knowledge of dental information and techniques necessary to assess oral conditions and treat periodontal disease.
