Summary
Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a System Administrator II (Lenel) to provide key support for Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems (ESS) in San Diego, California.
About the Role
As a System Administrator II (Lenel), you will ensure systems are operational with minimal nuisance alarms, support the installation and maintenance of IT and Network equipment, and manage the application hosting environment using virtualization platforms. You will also implement security policies, perform regular audits, support PKI certificates, and handle disaster recovery tests, among other responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience with Lenel OnGuard.
- Lenel OnGuard certification.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military training.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Manufacturer’s certification or technical training (Lenel, Milestone, Security+, CISSP).
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD applications.
- Experience with LENEL or Backfit certification.
