Summary
BioSpace is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist II to join their team in Libertyville, IL. The role involves managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and training design & delivery as part of the Site Business Excellence organization.
About the Role
As a Learning and Development Specialist II, you will manage LMS Administration activities, troubleshoot learner issues, and ensure compliance with training records and regulatory expectations. Your responsibilities will include managing curricula, scheduling training, providing reports for KPI monitoring, and facilitating training programs for new hires and existing colleagues. You will also collaborate with managers to identify learning needs and develop training materials in compliance with industry standards.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA degree in Life Science or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in LMS Administration, training, knowledge management, and instructional design.
- 2+ years of experience in a Training, Learning and Development, or Manufacturing Operations role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience delivering on-the-job training, classroom training, and using e-learning software.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience in deployment of LMS in global biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in manufacturing.
