Samsara is seeking a Lead Technology Internal Audit Manager - Analytics & Automation to join their Internal Audit team. This remote role focuses on leading technology risk audits and enhancing audit governance processes through automation and data analytics.
About the Role
As a Lead Technology Internal Audit Manager, you will integrate automation, AI, and data analytics into audit processes, lead risk-based technology audits, support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and enhance audit methodologies. You will work closely with IT, Security, and R&D teams to monitor technology risks and ensure compliance with standards like SOX and ISO.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity risk, or compliance within the tech or SaaS industry.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to build automation into audit processes.
- Hands-on experience with technology risk frameworks and compliance standards such as SOC, ISO, NIST, GDPR, and SOX.
- Proven ability to lead and execute technology risk assessments and advisory projects.
- Proficiency in data analytics and experience with large datasets and data processing tools.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting enterprise risk management (ERM) programs.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python) for automation and data analytics workflows.
- Experience partnering with product engineering teams in agile/DevOps environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering/Technology or related fields.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
