Summary
Deutsche Bank is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Vice President to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves leading a team of backend developers to design, enhance, and maintain services for the Liquidity Management Service application.
About the Role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of backend developers, collaborating with the Product team to define requirements, and taking ownership of tasks including design, development, and testing of new functionalities. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the system architecture's future state.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Strong Java programming skills with concurrency.
- Strong experience with Spring/SpringBoot.
- Experience with messaging systems, preferably Kafka.
- Experience with major relational databases, preferably Oracle.
- Extensive experience in critical application development with transaction processing flows.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience with Oracle, Kotlin, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of Swagger/Open API and IBM Message Queue (MQ).
