Piedmont is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Stockbridge, GA. The role involves coordinating and organizing the Engineering department staff and performing maintenance on complex systems and equipment.
About the Role
As a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the Engineering department's staff, managing vendor and contractor work assignments, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. You will perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including chillers, boilers, BAS controls, generators, and more. A strong knowledge of NFPA standards is essential.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from a Trade School or Military training.
- 5 years' experience, including 3 years in healthcare engineering in HVAC, Boiler/Central Plant, Electrical, or Plumbing.
- Journeyman or Georgia State License in HVAC, Boiler, Electrical, or Plumbing.
- EPA-Universal Certification (if trade is in HVAC).
- Underground Storage Tank Operator Class A (if trade is in Boiler).
Preferred:
- Valid Georgia driver's license and compliance with Piedmont Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500.
