About the Role
As a Lead Engineer - Principal Engineer, you will work in multidisciplinary project teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware development. You will lead a team of engineers to design, analyze, and build cutting-edge space instrumentation and spacecraft hardware. Your responsibilities include interfacing with customers, supporting design reviews, leading R&D efforts, and mentoring junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- 8-18 years of design experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
- 8-18 years of analysis experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Working knowledge of metallic and/or composite manufacturing processes.
- A valid/clear driver's license.
Preferred:
- Experience with spaceflight mechanisms and deployable systems.
