Summary
Quantinuum is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer - Semiconductor Test to join their Ion Trap fabrication team in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on developing and maturing capabilities for electrical and visual inspection of ion traps.
About the Role
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing automated analysis techniques to optimize throughput, creating automated test capabilities, and working across the organization to establish requirements for defects on surface ion traps. You will also identify new tools and vendors to enhance test and inspection capabilities and develop strategies to address capability gaps.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with IC and/or MEMS test and inspection with an emphasis on automated inspection of large die and characterization of inhomogeneities and defects.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or other specified statuses.
- Candidates must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless they are also a U.S. citizen.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial/Test Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience with automated defect/optical inspection equipment and techniques.
- Ability to write/leverage code and software to increase inspection throughput.
- Experience working with Capital equipment and service providers.
- Experience in a cross-functional, R&D team environment.
