As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be part of a fast-moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several UIs. You will develop and maintain Java microservice web applications, work closely with the tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap, resolve challenging software engineering design problems, interact with customers to resolve issues and propose new features, and support testing and deployment of production applications.

About You

Required:

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship.
3 or more years of experience and a B.S. degree in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years in place of a B.S.
Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving with Java.
Experience with RESTful web applications.
Experience with Spring Boot.
Experience interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology.
Experience with Automated testing.

Preferred:

Full stack experience including UI development with JavaScript (Vue.js).
Experience with Kafka.
