Amentum is looking for a Jr. Construction Project Manager to join their team in Springfield, VA to support mission-critical customers.
About the Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of a project, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, safeguarding company funds, and representing the company to the customer. Your essential responsibilities include providing project leadership, identifying project problems, developing alternatives, ensuring adherence to project management processes, tracking performance against key metrics, and managing budgets and forecasts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience in operations, maintenance, construction, or civil engineering.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
- Experience with Operational and Test Ranges.
