Laitram is seeking an IT Systems Administrator – Business Applications to join their team in New Orleans, LA. The role involves maintaining, administering, and supporting the application portfolio across the Laitram companies.
About the Role
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring the software application portfolio, supporting lifecycle management activities, contributing to incident root cause analysis, and working closely with outside vendors. You will also create Change Management documentation, research automated approaches for system administration tasks, and participate in a 24x7 On-Call rotation.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate technical field or minimum 4 years proven IT experience.
- Experience working with application support.
- Familiarity with Windows PowerShell.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
Preferred:
- MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT management solution for ticket tracking/resolution.
