Summary
Gridline is seeking an Investment Consultant to join their team in a hybrid location (Atlanta, GA or Washington, DC Preferred). The role involves supporting the buildout of client private investment programs, contributing to fund manager research, and providing high-quality client service and reporting.
About the Role
As an Investment Consultant, you will work collaboratively across the organization, supporting a diverse range of clients including independent financial advisors, single-family offices, and endowments and foundations. Your responsibilities will include responding to client requests, building custom portfolio proposals, conducting due diligence on investment managers, and producing investment recommendations. Success in this role will require effective communication, insightful analysis, and a strong sense of ethics.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or CAIA a plus (or working towards such credentials).
- 3–5+ years of experience in investment consulting, manager research, private portfolio construction, private equity, investment banking, investment advisory, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment topics clearly to varied audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience gained at a fund-of-funds, OCIO, Family Office, or Multi-Family Office.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and modeling; private markets experience preferred and familiarity with PitchBook, Cobalt, or Prequin ideal.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and collegial team player capable of completing tasks independently.
