Summary
Selmet Inc is seeking an Investing Operator to join their team in Albany, OR. The role involves performing wax mold investing operations on aerospace products during day or swing shifts.
About the Role
As an Investing Operator, you will be responsible for using a wire wheel grinder to remove ceramic material, preparing and testing slurry mixtures, operating automatic dipping equipment, cleaning and greasing robot heads, loading and unloading molds and products, cutting mesh wire to specifications, and bending metal banding around strongbacks.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Good attendance record required.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required, but relevant experience may be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer.
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Preferred:
- Prior industry experience preferred.
