Summary
NAVWAR is seeking an Interdisciplinary Natural Resources Specialist/Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist to serve as a Senior National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Project Manager in Honolulu, HI.
About the Role
In this role, you will review proposed construction and maintenance actions, prepare and review NEPA documents, manage contracts for environmental planning services, and mentor junior environmental planners. You will also present briefs to leadership and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
About You
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is required for the 0819 Job Series position.
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Preferred:
- Experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related environmental laws.
- Ability to prepare and review Categorical Exclusions (CATEX), Environmental Assessments (EAs), or Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
