About the Role
As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming prescriptions, verifying accuracy with healthcare providers, collaborating with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, maintaining thorough documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also communicate with patients to clarify prescription details and perform accurate data entry into the pharmacy management system.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer support, service, or success roles, preferably within healthcare and/or high-growth startups (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent data entry and computer skills, with the ability to work in multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
- Additional education or certification in healthcare or pharmacy technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification.
