Summary
San Benito CISD is seeking an Instructional Aide-Special Education ECSE/ACU/BMU (Pool) for the 2025-2026 School Year to assist students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom.
About the Role
As an Instructional Aide, you will help meet the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, managing behavior, and supporting instructional programs under the supervision of a certified teacher. You will work closely with students throughout the school day, including during lunch and on the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Forty-eight (48) college level hours from an accredited institution of higher education or an Associate’s Degree.
- Ability to obtain Texas Educational Aide Certification.
Preferred:
- Some experience working with children.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work well with parents of children with disabilities.
