CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL is seeking an Innovation Computer Science Teacher for the SY 25/26 in Windsor, CT. The role involves supporting the implementation of Computer Science Magnet theme courses for grades 7-12.
About the Role
As an Innovation Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned with the Danielson Framework, developing curriculum, promoting a conducive classroom environment, and conducting assessments to support student learning. You will also modify instructional methods to meet individual student needs and perform related tasks as assigned by the Principal.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Any Secondary Education endorsement.
Preferred:
Master's Degree.
Certification in Computer Science 7-12 (110), Technology PK-12 (047), or Business 7-12 (010).
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level.
