About the Role

As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician II, you will be responsible for compounding, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications according to Sutter Health policies and regulations. You will assist with inventory management, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and maintain accurate records of drug distribution. Additionally, you will mentor pharmacy students and technicians, conduct training, and resolve medication discrepancies.

About You

Required:

Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or met Board of Pharmacy requirements to obtain registration.
PHRMTECHR-Registered Pharmacy Technician - California State Board of Pharmacy certification.
1 year of recent relevant experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and laws and regulations.

Preferred:

Experience in a pharmacy practice setting, including narcotic delivery procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
