About the Role
As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III, you will utilize your expertise in software, applications, and technical processes to enhance the infrastructure engineering discipline. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical nuances, implementing security best practices, conducting security assessments, and collaborating with development and operations teams for seamless application delivery. You will also be accountable for significant project decisions and contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking, databases, and deployment practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS Services, Infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
- Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Git lab CI, and AWS code pipeline.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Preferred:
- Proficient in AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (i.e. Dockers and Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab, AWS Code Pipeline, or Spinnaker.
