About the Role
As an Information Security Engineer II, you will build and maintain automation scripts and workflows to enhance security operations, design integrations between security tools, develop automated playbooks for incident response, and collaborate with security analysts and engineers to implement smart automation solutions. You will also document automation processes and mentor junior team members.
About You
Required:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with direct experience in scripting and automation.
- Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or Go.
- Familiarity with key security platforms and tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike).
- Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration frameworks.
Preferred:
- Experience with security automation frameworks and platforms (e.g., SOAR, SIEM, EDR tools).
- Security certifications (e.g., GSEC, Security+, CISSP, GIAC).
