Summary
L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Implementation Systems Engineer 1 to join their team in Lynchburg, VA. The role involves supporting the design, implementation, and testing of Land Mobile Radio wireless communications systems for various customers.
About the Role
As an Implementation Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing design documentation, participating in customer discussions, and providing technical oversight for system integration and testing. You will ensure the conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions while managing project execution and troubleshooting technical challenges.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain Sec+ certification.
Preferred:
- PMP certification.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a STEM field.
- Experience in the land-mobile radio industry.
- Broad knowledge of project management.
- Experience leading or as the primary technical interface owning projects.
