About the Role
As an IME Physician Panelist, you will utilize your clinical expertise to review medical records, address client questions, and ensure that determinations are well-supported and documented. You will conduct in-person exams, maintain proper credentialing, and assist in quality assurance processes. The position allows for a customizable schedule and caseload while adhering to client-mandated turnaround times.
About You
Required:
- Valid WA medical license.
- Certification or willingness to become certified with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I).
Preferred:
- Experience in reviewing insurance claims and appeals.
- Familiarity with nationally recognized evidence-based guidelines.
