Compass Housing Alliance is seeking a Housing Case Manager to join their Supportive Housing Program in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing trauma-informed services to individuals facing multiple barriers to secure and maintain stable housing.
About the Role
As a Housing Case Manager, you will be responsible for assessing individual program participants, documenting their needs, providing information and referrals, setting goals, advocating for them, and coordinating services. You will empower participants to connect with community resources to improve their quality of life. This position operates under a 'housing first' model, providing supportive services to adults who were formerly unhoused.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2-years' experience in a social/human service setting related to housing and homelessness.
- Competency in and awareness of equity, intersectionality, and belonging.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with issues of housing instability, mental health, substance use, sexual assault, and/or domestic violence.
- Experience working in an environment where language may be a barrier.
- Current WA State Food Handlers Permit (if not current, will be sponsored within 1-month of hire).
