About the Role
As a Histotechnician, you will be responsible for the efficient pick-up and accurate accessioning of specimens, assisting with gross examinations, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the Gross Room and Frozen Sections Rooms, manage inventory, and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 12 semester hours of academic credit in biology and chemistry.
- 5 years of previous lab experience or 3 years of previous Histology or Cytology experience.
Benefits
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (3 pm - 11 pm) schedule.
- Required to work rotational On-Call and Weekends when needed.
