POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking a High Voltage Substation Inspector to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves performing substation inspections with potential for up to 100% travel.
About the Role
As a High Voltage Substation Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections on substation projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and documenting findings. You will work in various locations, primarily in the San Antonio area and surrounding states, and may need to travel and stay on-site for extended periods.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of active field experience in electrical or engineering projects.
- 5+ years of inspection, QA/QC, oversight, or supervision on substation projects.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Word and Excel, for reporting purposes.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of transmission line work, foundations, and stringing of conductors.
- Experience with transmission substations and facilities.
