Tri-Creek School Corporation is seeking a High School Chemistry Teacher - Leave Position to provide instructional support and continuity of learning for students enrolled in Chemistry courses at Lowell High School during the regular teacher’s leave of absence.
About the Role
As a Substitute Teacher for High School Chemistry, you will be responsible for delivering instruction and managing the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Your duties will include following lesson plans, maintaining a safe learning environment, supervising students, and upholding school rules. You will also be required to consult with school administration as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid substitute teaching permit or state certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous teaching or classroom experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and foster a positive learning environment.
Benefits
- Pay is according to the substitute teacher pay scale, dependent upon qualifications.
- Substitute permit only (HS diploma or GED or college degree) $85 per day.
- Licensed Teacher $90 per day.
- Retired TCSC Teacher $100 per day.
