About the Role
As a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining HSE training materials, managing training activities, conducting safety audits, developing safety policies, coordinating emergency response planning, and managing various health and safety programs. You will also support compliance audits and participate in site safety inspections, while coordinating industrial hygiene activities.
About You
Required:
- Previous experience as an Occupational Health & Safety professional.
- Strong knowledge of hazards and controls in high-risk chemical industry activities.
- Proficiency in work permitting, job safety analysis (JSA), OSHA and Washington State regulations.
- Strong communication, time management, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Preferred:
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Familiarity with chemical manufacturing processes and associated hazards.
- OSHA PSM experience.
- Experience with safety training and contractor oversight.
