About the Role
As a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, you will be responsible for training Leader Dogs, evaluating their progress, and tailoring instructional techniques to enhance the mobility skills of clients. You will also provide basic instruction in alternative mobility aids and technology, maintain records, and participate in client assessments and follow-ups.
About You
Required:
- Experience in dog training or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
Preferred:
- Background in orientation and mobility training.
- Experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
