Summary
Good Shepherd Services is seeking a Group Leader for their Bronx LEAP program, responsible for overseeing after school activities and ensuring the safety and development of participants.
About the Role
As a Group Leader, you will supervise a group of participants, engage them in various after school activities, and develop a thematic curriculum that promotes creativity and emotional growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining safety, fostering positive relationships, and organizing events for participants and their families.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School/GED Diploma and 1 year related experience in leading and participating in youth group development related activities.
Preferred:
- Experience building a camp culture through chants, team building activities, and community building.
- Ability to contribute a talent or experience in arts, music, crafts, etc.
