Injective Labs is seeking a Government Relations Officer to join their team in Washington, DC. The role involves leading advocacy efforts with U.S. federal and state governments to advance Injective's mission and business goals.
About the Role
As the Government Relations Officer, you will build and maintain relationships with government agencies and industry stakeholders, represent Injective in various forums, monitor legislative developments, and lead policy advocacy efforts. You will also educate regulators on decentralized finance, create educational materials, and assist in securing crypto-related licenses while advising the executive team on regulatory risks and opportunities.
About You
Required:
7+ years of experience in government relations, regulatory strategy, or public policy.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, finance, law, or public policy).
Proven experience working directly with regulators, policymakers, or government agencies.
Strong knowledge of U.S. laws, regulations, and crypto policy dynamics.
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and their regulatory implications.
Preferred:
Experience in blockchain, crypto, or financial services.
Ability to translate complex technical and industry concepts into tangible policy recommendations.
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
